The Police Forces (as they once were) were trusted and respected by the majority because they were no one's ally's. Their duty was to uphold and enforce the law without fear or favour. From the richest to the poorest, regardless of race, creed or colour the law was mostly seen to be applied equally. Today the Police Services are seen to uphold the law selectively, to apply it selectively and are ally's to some and the dispelers of instant injustice (Henry Novak) to others. They have lost our trust and they have lost our respect.
In many ways I agree. But I don’t doubt the police’s desire to enforce the law. It’s just that their job has become nigh-on impossible in a climate where British fair play, common sense and law & order has all been relegated below colonial guilt and social engineering. Who would a copper or squaddie be, when their overlords are always ready to hang them out to dry, if they dare to deviate from the DEI handbook? While ex IRA terrorists roam free, the British State may now prosecute British soldiers for doing their job in 1970s Belfast.
Is it perhaps Whitehall and the judiciary whose cages we should rattle? It is they who have broken the social contract.
Hi Marc, I believe that the problem lies with the creation and powers granted to the College of Policing and the Fast Track System allowing University Graduates to climb the promotion ladder over and above Police Officers who have come up through the ranks and have years of front line experience behind them. I know a number of PC's and Sergeants who feel a huge disconnect between their Senior Officers and themselves, much like the disconnect between Politicians and the People. There is of course a huge problem with Whitehall and the Judiciary, but also one embedded deep within the Police Service itself. I would argue that this is what lies behind the increasing number of frontline Officers taking early retirement or simply leaving the Service.
I have come to have zero respect for the police. They no longer follow 'Peel's principles' and therefore seem to have become little more than a gang of heavies doing the bidding of their political puppet masters.
Given that I couldn't get a member of West Midlands Police as one of Birmingham City Council's Court Officers after Max Caller refused to talk to us in the Court Service, the city has no police. The new head already capitulated to a struggle session. Their laptop can be handed over the the UM Embassy, so the 2020 Maoist terror and Pakistani gang entryism can be studied by detectives. Birmingham University can also explain David Gillborn.
Can anyone in Britain point out the Managing Director of Birmingham City Council out to Police? She's been hiding since last year from her legal and compliance people.
I'd like to 'like' this, but your post doesn't contain enough information to let a complete outsider to the events understand exactly what you're saying...(imho).
The typo doesn't help, but I won't edit it to 'US Embassy'. Chris Naylor and John Cotton used Kimberlé Crenshaw's tactics to encourage both a migration draw to Birmingham, along with anti-British tribal aggression. The 'politically b(B)lack' gangs were just taken over my Muslims using the same tactics, who began locking people out of meetings. This was intended to include Court Service staff, but we got into meetings anyway. There were various discussions over how to obtain money from 'white' people within the local authority via these ethnic gangs and how they'd intimidate people asking questions. We caught them via satellite and things got into the Telegraph.
Joanne Roney then got caught doing a theater performance in Birmingham University and behaving dangerously generally. The laptop is going to the Americans at this point, as they've destabilized the country. They've deliberately caused a security risk for the more senior partner in the relationship, the country and Europe. Birmingham's new head of police already capitulated to a struggle session.
It needs central government intervention as Andrew Mitchell is asking for, but Burnham is hiding from the chaos.
David Gillborn is just a fraud who just tells Brummies not to look at Chris Rufo.
No serious adult man is going to put their body or their family on the line for John Cotton. Brummies can come into the cold and mist to discuss the matter in front of the Celts, after their EDI spiv attacked children for money.
Much of what you say above I don’t disagree with: the form filling, top down, bureaucratic approach to “ equalities”, the flavour -of -the month approach to issues such as transgender rights, the noise around some of these issues- all this , while being a reaction to an earlier generation of explicit discrimination, has not proved sensible and reasonable, apart from creating fertile ground for political opportunism.
The problem I have with you is that following the mutation of “Living Marxism “ and the increasingly hilarious stuff in Spiked, the Furedi disciples ( I count you as one of those) became part of the Orban propaganda machine with fancily named “ independent” think tanks & the like funded by the Hungarian government and now, thankfully, that Orban has been booted out by his electorate, by Fidesz.
