Join the Together Declaration for its second anniversary event at Central Hall, Westminster on Friday 29 September

Friday 29 September is the two-year anniversary of Together Declaration’s launch - and a celebration of what has become the Together Association, a national campaigning organisation with hundreds of thousands of signatories and many thousands of members and supporters across Britain.

Together is a new movement made up of local, regional and national supporters that campaign across Britain. Our key goal is to ensure that the public is at the heart of matters - front and centre. For far too long, we’ve experienced technocratic bureaucrats imposing measures on us, while democratic accountability has been in short supply.

Together is a movement for the public, by the public. In only two years since forming, we have been at the forefront of many of the fiercest battles for freedom in the UK, mobilising hundreds of thousands of supporters against Covid Lockdowns and restrictions, vaccine passports and mandates.

We have also challenged the climate of censorship, running a campaign to challenge de-platforming by platforms such as Paypal and others insisting that all must be allowed legal free speech. We petitioned Andrew Griffith and The Financial Conduct Authority on this, as well as on de-banking.  Our campaigning on the Online Safety Bill helped change many of the measures within it - although it is still an assault on us all in its recently passed form. Together has campaigned for cash, contributing to over 65,000 respondents to the Bank of England’s consultation on cash and CBDC.

Most recently, Together has been at the forefront of fights across Britain challenging road closures brought in under ‘Emergency Traffic Orders’ - called LTNs or Low Traffic Neighbourhoods, 15-minute cities and the ULEZ (Ultra Low Emission Zones), as well as LEZ, CAZ and other such measures. This has resulted in Rishi Sunak ordering an inquiry into LTNs, as well as Mark Harper ceasing government funding for Active Travel and LTNs. These victories are vital - we have managed to put the challenge to Net Zero firmly on the national stage, forcing the government, all political parties and the press to address it.

Together’s second anniversary event at the fantastic Central Hall, Westminster on Friday 29 September has fantastic speakers to discuss how we can avoid limits, restrictions and controls being imposed on the public, and fight instead for freedom, true democracy and accountability in the UK.
